You can make a difference                                      Updated 2/8/08

People often wonder, "What difference can I make?"
One Stewards member took the time to meet with his local legislator, Senator Bill Morrow, to discuss his concerns regarding closures of OHV trails & Wilderness. As a result of this meeting Senator Morrow drafted a letter in support of OHV recreation & opposing inappropriate Wilderness.

If you ever wondered whether you can make a difference, now you know you can. Hopefully more folks will take the time to meet with their legislators & ask them to support OHV recreation & stop further inappropriate Wilderness Designation.

Watch this short video & find out how easy it is for you to make a BIG Difference in just One Hour  www.TrailsInTrouble.org

Depending on what you want to talk with your legislator about, please be sure to take a copy of the Stewards Trail Plan Alternative, or Stewards letter opposing inappropriate Wilderness or  Stewards Roadless Report along with you, as well as a copy of Senator Morrow's letter & leave them with your legislator. Ask your legislator to provide a letter indicating their support for OHV recreation & opposing further closures

You can meet with your legislator on any issue. It is important to build a relationship with them, so they are aware of what is important to you & how they can best represent you.
